Our Policies

Reviewed before every job. No surprises.

Policy 1 — Minimum Job

All services have a minimum charge of $149 for house washing and $99 for driveways, sidewalks, and concrete. This applies regardless of job size. 


Policy 2 — Travel Fee

A travel fee of $1.00 per mile each way applies to jobs outside our standard Richmond service radius. This is calculated based on your address and included in your quote before scheduling. 


Policy 3 — Water Source

We prefer properties with city or municipal water. If your property uses well water, a signed waiver acknowledging potential limitations is required before service can be scheduled. 


Policy 4 — Pet Safety

All pets must remain indoors during the job and until a full yard rinse-down is complete. We use cleaning solutions that require a safe washdown before animals return outside. 


Policy 5 — Deposit

A deposit may be required to confirm scheduling on larger jobs. This will be communicated in your quote.

 

Policy 6 — Payment Plans

Payment plans are available on qualifying jobs. Ask about options when requesting your quote.

 
 

Policy 7 — Weather Delays

Service may be delayed or rescheduled due to rain, lightning, freezing temperatures, unsafe wind conditions, or other weather concerns. Cain’s Power Washing will communicate scheduling updates as early as possible.


Policy 8 — Pre-Job Inspection

Before service begins, we perform a pre-job walkthrough and inspection of the property. Existing damage, loose fixtures, sensitive areas, and special concerns may be photographed or documented before cleaning starts.


Policy 9 — Surface Conditions

Some stains, oxidation, rust, oil spots, hard water buildup, or long-term surface discoloration may not be fully removable. Results vary depending on surface condition, age, and prior damage.


Policy 10 — Customer Preparation

Customers are asked to close windows and doors, remove fragile items from service areas, and ensure pets remain secured indoors during service.


Policy 11 — Scheduling & Arrival Window

Service times are scheduled within estimated arrival windows. Traffic, weather, equipment issues, and prior job conditions may affect exact arrival times.


Policy 12 — Payment Terms

Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposit requirements and payment plan terms will be included in the customer’s quote when applicable.


Policy 13 — Commercial & Fleet Services

Commercial, fleet, equipment, and specialty cleaning services may require custom pricing, inspections, or written approval before scheduling.


Policy 14 — Photo & Documentation Use

Cain’s Power Washing may document before-and-after project photos for quality control, customer records, and marketing purposes, unless the customer requests otherwise in writing.


Policy 15 — Satisfaction Commitment

We strive to provide professional, respectful, and high-quality service on every project. If there is a concern after service is completed, customers should contact us promptly so we can review the situation together.
